Since IPSquad’s goal is to promote free software development, it attempts to stimulate this domain using two complementary ways :

1. supporting some free software projects
2. creating free software projects

As a result, it assigns two differents labels depending on the relationship between IPSquad and the project.

"Supported by IPSquad"

This label is assigned to any project supported by IPSquad using donations or having some of the organization’s active members participating to its development.

This support will be only given conforming to some conditions :
  The project must be free (within the meaning of the Free Software Foundation) or open source (within the meaning of the Open Source Initiative)
  This support had to be proposed by one of the organization’s active members.
  This proposal had to be approved by the Board of Directors using two thirds majority.

"Created by IPSquad"

This label is assigned to any project created within IPSquad.

These projects will have at least one of their core developers being IPSquad member. Of course, extern contributions are allowed and even highly encouraged...
